About us:

Alternative Education Provision is an educational service that offers CPD to schools, tutoring online, face to face and in a school setting.

We follow the National Curriculum but allow young people to follow their own path, spending longer on topics they find challenging but moving more quickly on areas where they are comfortable.

  • Young people attend a class as regularly as they need where they receive one to one support.

  • Your tutor will be on hand to help with new topics and reward their hard work.

  • Structured homework consolidates work completed in the online class and allows young people to achieve mastery of each topic.

  • Our maths and English courses follow the National Curriculum.

  • Alternative Education Provision is suitable for young people of all ages and abilities.

  • We offer a highly flexible programme of learning that can fit into even the busiest of lifestyles.

Our mission:

Alternative Education Provision’s was founded by a school leader to provide young people of all ages and abilities with the best possible start in life. Their subject knowledge and profession acumen has helped shaped the curriculum to ensure that all young people achieve success at school, at home and in exams. Alternative Education Provision helps young people to develop a positive attitude to learning and to inspire them to achieve their full potential.

Unlike mainstream provision, we do not age specify when it comes to learning. Instead, we base on skills, ability and need. This allows great freedom when personalising your journey to create something that works just for you. Whether this is supporting in a subject that young people are struggling in, or a subject they truly want to reach their full potential in.

Bring Poetry to Life

Poetry can be daunting for young people. We aim to remove that barrier and turn it into something fun and exciting.

This fabulous workshops can be tailored to suit KS2, KS3 and KS4 students. It highlights ways in which teachers can be creative  to help young people explore poetry. It is interleaved with transactional writing and opportunities for S&L.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Lisa

After being disappointed with a prediction of a 4 in both English exams, AEP helped my daughter to achieve a grade 7 in both. She couldn't have achieved this without the support and guidance that she was given.

I really enjoyed the one-to-one sessions that I received. It made learning fun and helped me to pass my GCSE exams.

It was a pleasure to work with Alternative Education Provision. We are really proud of how far they have helped our son come.
